Beginner Knitting Class with Ashley Buehring of Textiles by Ash

In this class we will be learning to read a pattern and the basic knitting techniques of: long tail cast on, knit, purl, seed stitch, garter stitch, and a simple bind off.

The class will include three hours of instruction: where we will use basic knitting techniques to knit a makeup remover, two patterns: one for the makeup remover and the second for a full size dishcloth, and last but not least a basic accessory kit.

Personal Supplies: You need the following items for the class

• Knitting Needles - US 8/5.0 mm or US 7 / 4.5 mm
• Yarn - Worsted Weight Cotton
  

The supplies will be available in store if you need to purchase them. Students receive a 10% discount on the day of class. Consignment items and class kits are not available for a discount.
