Knitting a Beanie in the Round with Ash from Textiles by Ash

Do you need a new hobby, or something to do with those supplies you received over the holidays, or do you just want to expand your skills as a knitter? Then this class is for you!

In this class we will go over:
- Long Tail Cast on
- Knitting in the Round
- Ribbing
- Knit Stitch
- Purl Stitch
- Knit Front and Back – an increase stitch
- Knit Two Together – a decrease stitch
- Closing a Hat
- Weaving in Ends

All of this will be accomplished using Double Pointed Needles
Anyone can take this class a brand-new knitter, a beginner knitter, someone who wants to learn hats or a more experienced knitter.

Personal Supplies: You need the following items for the class

• Pattern The "Rhys Beanie" by Wilder and Rhys on Etsy

• Worsted or Size 4 Yarn of at least 175 yards (We will be using 2 strands of yarn)

• Size US 11, 8.0 mm Double pointed needles

• Stitch Marker

•  Scissors

• Tapestry needle for closing and weaving in ends

• Faux Fur Pom Pom, Optional

The supplies will be available in store. Students receive a 10% discount on the day of class. Consignment items and class kits are not available for a discount.
