Inkle Loom Weaving Level 2: Expanded Plain Weave with Rick of Warped Rabbit

Ready to move beyond the basics? In this follow-up class, students will
build confidence by designing and warping their own bands while refining
weaving techniques.

 This class prepares you for more future techniques such as pickup
weaving and more advanced pattern design

What You’ll Learn:

• How to plan or design your own warp
• Creating balanced or symmetrical designs
• Improving selvedges and weaving consistency
• Troubleshooting and fixing common mistakes

Supplies for class use included with the Class:

• Loom 
• Shuttle and pickup sticks 
• Heddles
• Basic Weaving Tools as needed

Teacher: Rick Hineline of Warped Rabbit

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Required Skills: Completion of Intro to Inkle (Inkle Weaving Level 1 or similar experience.
The student should understand basic plain weave.

Class Kit Cost: $12-15 + tax depending on color choices and will be available day of class

(Students can bring their own yarn or a kit will be available for a fee the day
of class)

Class Kit: consumables kit for the class will be available for purchase on the day of class. We are required by the state to pay sales tax on these items.

• 2-3 colors of 3/2 Gist Cotton

The supplies will be available in store. Students receive a 10% discount on the day of class. Consignment items and class kits are not available for a discount.
